Absurdist Medusozoa

[10min30, found-footage and own shot 16mm analog]

The medusozoa, also known as jellyfish, is a creature of our oceans that has been here for more than 500 million years.

This movie can be seen as a stream of consciousness juxtaposed against the science of the animal-species. Philosophy to an extreme sense —closing in on the absurd— is a jargon that I enjoy resorting to when it comes down to this essayistic way of film making.
The combination of this biased and dramatized thinking, opposed to the scientific rational approach creates this realistic and recognizable vibe for the viewer.
